In response to questions we have been asked about summer storage here are some different options. You will find many more storage facilities than

those listed here if you do a google search. My kids always formed groups with others and shared a large storage unit. The units were unconditioned

and they made sure not to store food or other items that would not do well in the heat and packed in plastic bags and containers to the extent possible.

No need to get everything home over the summer. Students bring home for the summer what they will need in the way of clothing. They join together

and rent a larger storage unit and split the cost, often with students with whom they will be living the following year. The lack of a car should not be a

limiting factor in using a self-storage facility. Someone in the group may have a car or they find a friend with a car.
